Darcy began working with his father Delvin Jech at the family's insurance agency in 1981. Father and son worked as partners until Delvin passed away. Now the owner of the insurance agency, Darcy works hard to serve his customers and help them through their times of crisis- whether it is the devastation from storms or wildfiresor suffering an accident. Darcy served his community for two terms on the Kingfisher City Council and is a longtime member of the Chamber of Commerce. He served on the board of the Regional Hospital, the Industrial Foundation and the Rotary Club. Darcy is also an Elder and longtime board member at his church, Kingfisher First Christian Church. Growing up on a small farm in Kingfisher, Darcy knows the vital role agriculture plays in Oklahoma's economy and rural communities. A member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association and the Wheat Growers Association, Darcy and his brother still run a cow/calf operation. Darcy understands the challenges facing Oklahoma's farmers and ranchers- everything from crop failures and market fluctuations to the heavy hand of government mandates. An Oklahoma Conservative
Darcy Jech is passionate about our schools because he knows a good education can be a powerful took in a person's life. Darcy served on the Kingfisher Educational Foundation and Vicky Jech is a longtime teacher and counselor in the public schools system.
