To kick off our 2025 Annual Training, some of our talented musicians had the opportunity to lead master classes for the Pride of Durant high school students!

It was inspiring to see our soldiers connecting with the next generation of musicians, guiding them through instrumental techniques, practice tips, and what it means to serve through music.

We’re proud of our soldiers for representing the Oklahoma National Guard with professionalism and heart.

This weekend, we celebrated a Change of Responsibility ceremony, marking the transition of leadership from outgoing 1SG Friedemann to incoming 1SG Hamilton.

1SG Friedemann has provided exceptional leadership over the past seven years, leaving a mark on the 145th Army Band and the Oklahoma National Guard. His dedication to the soldiers he led and the communities he served has made a lasting impact, and we are grateful for his service.

As we bid farewell to 1SG Friedemann, we welcome 1SG Hamilton into her new role! We look forward to the continued success of the 145th Army Band under her leadership.

This weekend, we got to celebrate Formerly SGT Williams as he takes on a new role as a Second Lieutenant! 2LT Williams was selected to receive a direct commission (a rare achievement) and will begin his journey as an officer in the Oklahoma National Guard. His legacy now extends beyond the 145th Army Band. Congratulations, 2LT Williams!

It's that time of year! Join us at Guthrie's Territorial Christmas Celebrations this Saturday and get in the Holiday spirit. Our concert band will start off the evening music at 5:00PM at the Guthrie Post Office, followed by our smaller ensembles at 6:00PM. Happy Holidays!🎷🎄

A bittersweet farewell to SFC Delisle and SSG Wright who served as our Readiness and Admin NCOs respectively. We will miss their cheerful presence in the band room! They were coined by the commander with a 145th Army Band Coin last drill as they said their goodbyes to the unit.
