2026 POLL WORKER & ELECTION STAFF TRAINING

Day #1 was a great success!

A special WELCOME to our new Poll Workers joining the Macon County Elections team for the 2026 Election Cycle! Thank you to all of our Poll Workers, Election Staff, Board Members, and Equipment Technicians for your participation, attentiveness, and commitment to being prepared and Election Ready.

We’re looking forward to session two, featuring an important Election Safety Session with Montezuma Chief of Police Eric Finch.

The local Elections Office will open at 12:30 PM.

The Macon County Board of Elections & Registration proudly recognizes and salutes our Chairman, Christopher “Chris” Fox, who faithfully serves his community as Fire Chief for Ideal, Georgia and is a retired member of the Georgia Department of Corrections.
