Hey Ogden City! The final unofficial results are in, and I’m filled with gratitude as I reflect on 12 incredible years of serving Ogden. It has been the honor of a lifetime to listen, learn, and work alongside so many amazing people to make our city stronger, more connected, and more vibrant.

I’ve always listened to everyone and made decisions based on data, facts, and what is best for all of Ogden. I choose honey over vinegar, and I’m grateful that my time in office and the relationships built along the way have been grounded in kindness, respect, and genuine care for this city and its people.

Congratulations to Alicia Washington for Ogden City Council on her victory. I wish her the very best as she takes on the important responsibility of leading and serving Ogden.

As we move forward, let’s think in terms of “and” instead of “or” — recognizing that progress and compassion, growth and preservation, innovation and tradition can all coexist. Ogden is at its best when we come together.

Ogden will always have my heart, and I’ll continue finding ways to serve, to listen, and to lead with both honey and hope.
