Just watched our incredible Utah Highway Patrol executed a flawless pit maneuver on a reckless, fleeing driver, live on the freeway.
An hour ago I met one of our at the Capitol.
This morning I watched the North View Fire Department respond to a live fire billowing with thick, black smoke just down the road, minutes after I had announced them in our local parade.
There weren’t alone. Not only was the parade patrolled and protected by North Ogden Pd, but I noticed both Ogden Police UT and Weber County Sheriff's Office Deputies as well.
One of the Ogden officers this morning skillfully moved a young girl out of harms way right in front of us.
The parade this morning was capped off with a flyover with four F-35’s from the 419th Fighter Wing based at Hill AFB.
And I feel compelled to say publicly today, how grateful I am there are men and women who voluntarily sign up to do what the rest of us can’t, or won’t, in order to ensure that we remain a land where liberty remains the standard for us all.
Today, of all days, may we be cognizant of the sacrifice that so many make on our behalf. Let us honor the very real sacrifice made by our and ALL who commit their lives, fortunes and yes, their Sacred Honor to preserving that wherewith God hath made us free!
Seriously. May God bless each and every one of you spending the holiday away from your loved ones, and may His divine watchcare be over and with you today and on every shift. And, may God continue to bless these States of America! 🇺🇸
