Got a letter stating they couldn't verify your citizenship? Most of you are legacy voters - have lived in the same house for a long time and voted every year. When you registered many years ago, you just had to check the box that you attested to being a citizen. Through the state audit and the systems they used to verify citizenship, they were unable to verify yours. You need to go to the county clerk's office and show them proof of citizenship. This has hit the older population the most. If anyone needs assistance getting to the clerk's office, please email [email protected], and we will find someone to take you.

Weber County representative, is the reason.
