We’re so excited to see families back out on the beach! 😄

State Parks has opened up Creek Crossing for Camping & Day Use for Beach Driving & OHV but ONLY during the permitted times each day.

Friday: 8am-4:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am-5:00pm
Sunday: 9:30am-5:30pm

👉All Day Users must be back on the north side of the creek before the creek closing time each day.

⛺️Campers should be prepared to stay on the south side of the creek after creek closing hours until the next morning.

Hours are subject to change with the tides & creek conditions, this weekends hours are projected. Be sure to follow Oceano Dunes District - Pismo for their official daily Creek Crossing hours.

Oceano Dunes camping will reopen on April 26. We are happy to see that Parks is finally listening to the users, to get families back on the beach. Friends proposed this exact solution to reopen camping at Oceano Dunes back on April 12.

Weeks of unnecessary camping cancellations could have been avoided if Park Management would have followed our proposed plan and allowed us to help. Everyone, have fun out there camping with your families again! Please remember to follow the Park rules, creek crossing guidelines & keep our Park clean. Be safe & enjoy!

How should we compensate Lucia Mar Management Group? Most citizens are supportive of increasing pay for those that educate and support staff....what about Management? Maybe we should alter their compensation based on RESULTS.

If you want more input, attend the Lucia Mar Unified School District Meeting tonight. Starts at 7pm. see attached agenda item #20. they will automatically increase management pay with this item.
