At 3:00 PM today ⏰, β€œWe the People” πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ will be submitting 1230+ Signatures ✍️ to the Ocean City Town Clerk πŸ“‹ in reference to the Emergency Ordinance 🚨 that put a moratorium on Rental Licenses 🏠 in the R-1/MH Community.

The Residents of Ocean City πŸ‘₯ have had enough 😀 of the rogue Mayor and Council πŸ›οΈ who are making decisions that only suit their friends and donors πŸ’°, and not what is best for Ocean City 🌊.
Enough is Enough ✊ and when verified βœ…, this will stay the ordinance until a time when the people vote on it πŸ—³οΈ.

But the people already voted on this in July β˜€οΈ. They didn’t want the Ban then ❌ and they don’t want the Moratorium now! 🚫
They don’t want a cap or a limit 🚫. They want you to enforce basic rules equally and without discrimination βš–οΈ.

What they do want is a mayor and council to look out for the health and welfare β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή of all Citizens in this town 🏘️, not just the few elites πŸ‘‘ who decided that they shouldn’t have to be bothered with tourists 🧳.

What the people want is the Mayor and Council to uphold the democratic process 🀝 as they promised and stop pushing their radical agendaβ›”.

While we faced significant adversity πŸ˜“ during this go around with half the town away πŸ›«, during the holidays πŸŽ„, away from our families πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦, in the snow ❄️ and rain β˜”, we never gave up πŸ’ͺ and there was more than one time we thought about it πŸ€”.

We thank all who stepped up and sacrificed πŸ™ to help make a difference 🌟 and fight for what is right βš–οΈ.

Update: The number of signatures accepted by the Town Clerk is 1257.
