Oak Island Citizens Academy registration is open!

If you’ve ever wanted a behind the scenes look at how our local government works, I highly recommend checking out the Oak Island Citizens Academy. This is a great program put together by our Town staff that gives participants an inside look at town departments and operations all in a way that’s both informative and interactive.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Oak Island, ask questions, and connect with the people who keep our town running every day!

The Oak Island Citizens Academy is an interactive program designed to educate and familiarize residents with the departments and services provided by their local government.

Thank you Oak Island!

I’m deeply grateful to the people of Oak Island for your trust and support. To every friend, neighbor, and volunteer who helped along the way - from hosting meet and greets to spreading my name, sharing ideas, or reading through countless drafts of speeches and posts - thank you! Your encouragement and belief in this campaign has meant everything.

I ran because I believe Oak Island’s best days are ahead, and I’m excited to get to work. As your council member, I’ll stay focused on finding balanced, practical solutions that keep our town moving forward - protecting what makes Oak Island special while preparing thoughtfully for the future.

We have real challenges and opportunities ahead, and I’m committed to working with all residents and my fellow council members to make progress together. Thank you again for the confidence you’ve placed in me!

I had a wonderful meet and greet this afternoon with folks in Pine Forest. Over the past few months I’ve had the chance to meet neighbors in every part of our town, from the oceanfront and wooded areas, and on and off island. Each conversation has been a reminder of what connects us all: a shared love for Oak Island and a desire to see it thrive! One week to go! Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to talk, listen, and share your ideas with me along the way!

There it is! Wild to see my name on the ballot! This campaign has been an incredible experience meeting neighbors, hearing ideas and concerns, and finding common ground on what matters most to Oak Island. With only a few more days until Election Day, let’s finish strong!
