The Grumman A-6 Intruder. This twin jet-engine, mid-wing attack aircraft was used by the United States Navy and Marine Corps for long range bombings from Vietnam to Operation Restore Hope. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney J52-P8B turbojets, this aircraft could reach speeds up to 650 mph. From 1963 to about 1997, the A-6 was a major asset in the aerial fleet.
