This page will be to keep you informed of all our events!

We are a coalition of Gold Star and Blue Star families, veterans, and patriotic Americans who share a deep appreciation for our men and women in uniform and support them in their mission to keep America safe. Founded in 2005 to provide an avenue for military families to remind the nation of the importance of supporting our military and the mission they had been given to accomplish, we expanded to provide charitable programs that offer families direct support. Through a portfolio of unique services, events, and advocacy programs, we seek to ensure that future generations of Americans will never forget the sacrifices of our courageous military and that these men and women and their families receive the support they need.

IT’S TIME! 🐄🎡🏃‍♀️

We’re officially counting down to the Moovin’ Thru the Midway 5K at the Michigan State Fair!

Date: Saturday, September 5
Location: Michigan State Fair — Novi, MI
Time: 8:00 AM (Packet Pick-Up Between 6:30 AM- 8:30 AM before the race)

Choose your way to participate:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Virtual 5K — participate wherever you are!

This isn’t just your everyday 5K. You’ll make your way through a fully immersive course in the Michigan State Fairgrounds, including the Carnival Midway, animals, and vendor exhibits.

And most importantly, your participation supports Military Families United and our mission to support service members and their families.

Come run. Come walk. Come support a great cause.

Even though we’re still in back-to-school mode, Santa’s Helpers is already getting ready for Christmas! Each year, we fill stockings with basic necessities and a few special things to make the holidays brighter for kids in need. School supplies are one of the items we’re asked for most often, so we’re starting early this year.

If you’re already doing some back-to-school shopping, would you consider grabbing an extra item or two for Santa’s Helpers? A little extra on your shopping trip now can make a big difference for a child at Christmas.

Ideas:

- Colored Pencils
- Washable Markers
- Journals
- Gel Pens
- Anything that can fit in a stocking!

We are so grateful for our amazing volunteers and everyone who has donated or given gifts. As we finish up remaining wish lists, donations through our website or Venmo are especially helpful for buying these last few gifts. Thank you for supporting military families this season!!
