Norwood Circle of Hope The mission of the foundation is to provide assistance to Norwood residents who are in need due to a catastrophic medical occurrence.

The Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation was established in 1998 in memory of Michelle Kennedy a young Norwood resident who suffered with leukemia. During Michelle's battle, the entire Norwood Community,

many of whom did not know Michelle, joined together to support her in her time of need and it is in that spirit that the Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation continues. The foundation board members represent the entire community with individuals from the police and fire departments, town government, the school system, medical, social services and the business community. The Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization. All of our board members are volunteers. Our funds come from corporate, private and public donations as well as fundraising during the year. Over the years, the Circle of Hope Foundation has assisted families with various expenses depending on their needs: rent, mortgage, utilities, food, medical bills and equipment, house ramps, prescriptions, gas cards and travel to treatment centers. Why do we use an anchor as our symbol? In ancient times an anchor was considered a symbol for safety. It was adopted by the Greeks as a symbol for hope and thus, we use it for the Norwood Circle of HOPE Foundation.

Thank you to everyone - from the Dancers, their families and supporters, our sponsors, the professional dancers, our judges and all those involved! The Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation gives a huge thank you to all the contestants, professional dancers, judges, and all of our supporters for making the 2026 Dancing with the Norwood Stars overwhelmingly successful.

Thank you to this year's dancers - Tim Rose, Tenia Kniolek, Michael O'Conner, Karen Broderick, Christopher Lipscomb and Maria Rondinelli-Lopez AND their families were outstanding for giving of their time, energy and dedication over several months.

And big congratulations to Judges' Choice winner Tim Rose and Champion Karen Broderick!

We also thank Fred Astaire Dance Studios, Norwood Community Media - NCM, OneLocal Bank, Four Points by Sheraton and the Tiffany Ballroom Staff, Ed Hicky & Steve Dabreio for flowers, Tracy Young for spray tans, Donna Breen for hair and makeup, Paul & Martha Angelo for wine and Norwood Printing for our printing needs.

And of course, we could not do any of this without the ongoing and continuing support of the Norwood Community. Thank you, thank you!!

5 days to go till we find out who will take home the disco ball trophy as the 2026 Champion of Dancing with the Norwood Stars! We think they are all champions for giving of their time and participating this year to make this event successful. If you see them around town be sure to thank them and wish them well - Karen Broderick, Tim Rose, Maria Rondinelli-Lopez, Christopher Lipscomb, Tenia Kniolek and Michael O'Connor.
