What You Can Do: "Start by getting engaged early and following the permitting process. Data centers move through several levels of approval, including local permits, air permits, and Public Service Commission proceedings. At each step, you have opportunities to take action."

Last night at our second Norwalk Area Democrats meeting we had a great turnout with 26 people from Norwalk, Cu***ng, Carlise, Prole, and Indianola joining. Three times attendance of our first meeting!

Brandon Burnett shared updates on the creation of a website and social media accounts (contact Brandon if you want to help with content).

Matthew Sebek shared a draft mission statement (will be posted here soon).

We discussed the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program

We have number of events in the works:
*3/28 No Kings Rally
*A Norwalk Area Democrats Picnic
*Fourth of July Parade
*Sending some people to an upcoming Ankeny Area Democrats meeting to learn from their success
*Social outings? We believe that building a movement should also be about building friendships. We’re considering some low-pressure social outings and want to know what sounds best to you: Bike rides, hikes, pub crawls, precinct front porch/driveway gatherings, other ideas?
