The inaugural Woodbooger 100 started this morning with 100K and 100-mile runners headed up High K**b.

The 25K and 50K races will be held tomorrow, June 14. If traveling on High K**b this weekend, please watch out for runners and cheer them on if you see them!

The Woodbooger 100 is happening in Norton this weekend!

As part of the pre-race festivities, two food trucks (Oma’s Haus and Southwest Smashburger) will be serving up food at the Norton Expo Center, 115 8th St. SW, from 4-8 p.m. The public is welcome to visit both trucks this evening!

Join us in welcoming two amazing food trucks who will be on-site for the 100 Mile and 100k packet pickup on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the in beautiful !

The first Norton Friends and Farmers Market of the 2026 season starts at 4 p.m. today!

The Norton Friends and Farmers Market kicks off its 2026 season this Tuesday, June 2! See below for a sneak peek of some of the items that will be available Tuesday.

As a reminder:

🥬 The market accepts SNAP/EBT benefits. It also offers Wholesome Wave tokens, which are provided through the Virginia Fresh Match grant program. This program allows the market to match up to $25 of SNAP/EBT benefits spent at the market.

🍎Kids Bucks and Senior Tokens programs will also be offered. These programs provide eligible children and seniors with $5 every market to shop for fresh produce and other market items.

🍔Two food trucks - Oma's Haus and Let It Snow Snowcones - will also be attending the market.
