It saddens us to inform you that we have not been successful in our efforts to keep the town hall open and the decision has been made by a unanimous vote at this year’s meeting to dissolve the Wildwood-Plum Creek Community Club and shut down the hall. Our community has celebrated many family and community events for over 50 years at the Town Hall. It has severed as a school, a polling station, a meeting place for local groups and organizations, held many Christmas parties and the best picnic place ever. The community members that brought together the Wildwood-Plum Creek organization that severed our community should be honored to know what joy and memories it has given everyone who has ever lived or visited here.
To anyone that wishes to have back items that were donated please PM Tim Stanoch or Jodi Ellison to arrange a time to meet and unlock the hall.
The Club officers will start the process of shutting down the Hall and dissolving the Community Club, any funds remaining in its account will be transferred to the Wildwood Cemetery Association. It has been proposed to build a picnic pavilion at the new section of the Wildwood Cemetery. A sincere thanks to everyone for your past support of the Community Club and your continued support of the Cemetery Association.
