What better way for people in the community to get out, have fun and challenge themselves than a 5K Run/Walk?! About the Run/Walk:
The Northlake Friendly 5K Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, September 29th, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Starting and ending at West Leyden High School in Northlake. The run path takes runners through the beautiful Midland Trail. This 5K is for individuals from all fitness lev
els, first timers to experienced runners, and families too! Most of all, participants are encouraged to test their fitness and have fun! About the Charity:
The Northlake Police Memorial Fund was established as a 501(c)(3) charity to erect a statue of an officer holding a child's hand, to be placed in front of the newly built police station. This statue was chosen by the residents of the City of Northlake in a city-wide vote, as a dedication to the officers who have been injured or have died in the line of duty. This is a great way to commemorate the hard work and sacrifice of our city's officers! Where to sign up:

September 28th at Northlake Police Department from 9-3. North Ave in Northlake IL. Otherwise runners can pick up their packets the day of the run. Contact:
