The president of the Chicago Teachers Union is receiving an honorary degree from her alma mater Mount Holyoke College this weekend. Join WMass Jobs with Justice and friends this Friday, May 16th, 4:30 pm at the Odyssey Bookshop to welcome her back to Western Massachusetts.

It aptly describes the influence of the president of the Chicago Teachers Union, Karen G. Jennings Lewis ’74, who will receive an honorary degree at Mount Holyoke’s 177th commencement on May 18.
