Larry Jackson for WV My name is Larry Jackson. I'm Conservative Republican, formerly running for the 1st district of WV for US House of Representatives in 2026. I am 42 years old.

Born and raised here in Southern West Virginia. I am married to my wife of 22 years, April and together we have 6 wonderful kids. I am of the Baptist faith. Strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment, and all of the Rights afforded to us by the U.S. Constitution. I am an avid outdoorsman. I love hunting, fishing, and just spending time with family. Growing up near poverty, I am now a self-made business

owner. I am striving to provide a life for my children that I didn't have. I made the decision to run for office simply because I couldn't sit by and watch our rights be taken away! I want my children, and yours to enjoy the same freedoms we all had growing up. I promise to fight for you with everything in me! May God bless you all!

Thomas Jefferson wrote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

Jefferson used the metaphor to describe how democratic freedoms require active defense, vigilance, and sometimes radical resistance against tyranny to survive.

This is still very much true today. Yet, only 20% are willing to even vote! Considering our freedoms demand active defense, and all we can muster is 20% of the people to vote, we are surely going to suffer!

We are losing a war that most Americans don't even know we are fighting.

Our own people can't get help, but others can!! Let this sink in for a minute. And, as you get upset thinking about it, just know you can vote to change things! We absolutely do not have to just take whatever they throw at us!

Under Speaker Mike Johnson, your elected Representatives went home July 23rd, only came back this week just to pass another CR, and have now announced they will not be back to Washington until after the midterms in November. Nevertheless, We The People will continue to pay them, even though they aren't working! On second thought, when do they ever work for us?!

This week, the majority of Congress, BOTH R’s and D’s, voted to continue the same budget to Dec, after midterms, with Republicans wasting their opportunity to pass a full Republican budget!

They are going home, knowing that the Democrats may very well win the midterms, and the next budget that will be made in the House of Representatives will be made and lead by a new Speaker Hakeem Jeffries.

No matter how much you raise your voice, support candidates, knock doors, volunteer, the same failure continues.
And they sell you out every single time.

We absolutely must stop voting for these same ole do nothing politician's! Last May, the people of West Virginia had the opportunity to retire Carol Miller, and elect someone who wasn't a career politician. One of you. Someone who lives the same struggles, yet, only 20% turned out to vote!

Folks, you absolutely cannot be alright with everything going on! I know, because I live it! When do we come together and stop the madness going on?
