I want to thank everyone who has supported me through this campaign. Thanks to all the people who have donated their time and money. I want to thank my wife, mother in law and daughter who have been instrumental in my campaign. Congratulations to Ryan Barker, JD and Tera on their win. The candidate elects really are a good group of people.
I have made a lot of friends over the course of the campaign, met a lot of wonderful residents. I will continue to work with the city, learn more and help in any way I can. There’s much work to do.

If any of you have watched the debates I participated in over the summer and fall, you will know that I am very passionate and outspoken about the working class. We have a lot of people in our community who are probably hurting right now due to the government shutdown. I believe it is very important that we come together as a community and reach out to our neighbors and ask if they are okay. We should donate any extra food to local food banks. There are many families affected by the shutdown, and I know there are many reasons why, but we need to focus on what we can do for our fellow neighbors. Tri-City Exchange has always provided an important service and is always important, but now more than ever, these food banks' capabilities to feed everyone are being tested with the influx of federal workers. I can come collect food and donate it to local food banks if anyone is able to provide. Or I encourage you to bring some food to local food banks yourselves! Have a beautiful Thursday afternoon! And say hi to your neighbor; you never know, they may need it.

As Election Day approaches and my campaign comes to a close, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has supported me along the way.

Whether you donated your time or money, offered encouragement, helped me prepare for forums and debates, shared advice, or simply reached out to ask questions about the city and my positions, thank you. Those conversations kept me sharp, thoughtful, and always learning.

I especially want to thank my wife. This campaign wouldn’t have been possible without her. She built my website (from scratch!), designed flyers, business cards, and signs—all while being my biggest believer when I doubted myself. And a huge thank you to my mother-in-law for stepping in and providing extra help with our daughter these past five months.

To my fellow candidates, it’s truly been a pleasure. Seriously. I know some of the other municipal races have gotten contentious, and I’m proud to be part of a race that has remained civil and respectful despite our differences. That’s a testament to everyone’s genuine care for this community.

To everyone who has voted or plans to vote for me by November 4th, thank you for trusting me with your vote and with the future of our city. Win or lose, I’m committed to staying involved, continuing to learn, and doing my part to make North Ogden the best it can be.

NOTICE OF CONTROLLED BURN:

North Ogden City will be conducting a controlled burn at the Green Waste Pit located at 2700 N Mountain Road on Tuesday, September 23rd -Thursday, September 25th pending approval of a burn permit from the Division of Air Quality.

The Green Waste Pit will re-open on Saturday, September 27th for green waste and recycling drop off during it's regular hours of 9 AM-2 PM.
