Friends of the North Canton Public Library

Friends of the North Canton Public Library Established in 1981, the Friends of the North Canton Public Library promotes and raises funds for the NCPL.

During the last 10 years, the Friends have gifted the NCPL with over $120,000 to support a wide variety of acquisitions and programs for all ages!

Hope everyone had a great time at our book sale! A HUGE shout out to the staff and leadership at the North Canton Public Library for accommodating us during their big move, we really appreciate it! As always, many thanks to all our volunteers who put in lots of time and effort to make our sale a success - we couldn’t do it without you!! Be sure to stay tuned to our page for updates on our activity over the next year. Our schedule and locations might change a bit during the renovation, but we’ll keep you posted!

Get excited everyone, it’s book sale time!! The Friends of the North Canton Public Library will be holding our Semi-Annual Book Sale from August 19th through August 22nd, 2026 at the library!

We will have more than 7,000 books and other media including CDs, DVDs, video games, audio books and records!

See below for dates and times:

Friends Members Only Sale
Wednesday, August 19th
4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Join at the door: $10 annual family membership.

Public Sale
Thursday, August 20
10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday, August 21
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All Day Bag Sale
Saturday, August 22
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All our fiction hard cover books are just $2, and large paperbacks are $1. Most items are priced between 50 cents and $3.

Most importantly, all proceeds from our sale will benefit the North Canton Public Library!
