They stood up and said they want to protect what makes this city special: quality streets, strong neighborhoods, and to ensure that our fire fighters have the resources they need. 🟠A 0.5% increase is expected to generate approximately $3.658 million/year!
⚫️It would replace three property tax levies, which would expire/be released early. (No new property tax levies can be added without voter approval.)
🟠This increase would fund $2.279mil/annually in fire/ems operations.
⚫️Help fund a new fire/ems facility at $1mil annually.
🟠Fund residential road paving at $354k (with an additional $400k committed by council in existing tax revenue.

When the Board of Elections initially announced this levy as Issue 3, I updated the page immediately. Then, due to a state conflict, they had to change it two days later to Issue 4. Unfortunately, Facebook doesn’t let you change the name of the page within 60 days… so we have to wait another 39 days to change it to Issue 4. So we created a new Yes on Issue 4… Please join!
