It's almost fair time, and there's something for everyone to enjoy! Mark your calendars for these important dates and opening day events.

Important Dates
🏆 Wednesday, Sept. 9
• Exhibit entries due between 3 and 8 p.m.

Opening Day – Thursday, Sept. 10
• 9:30 a.m. – Main Building exhibit judging
• 4 p.m. – Main Building opens to the public
• 5–9 p.m. – Petting Zoo
• 5–8 p.m. – Tractor Club activities
• 6:30 p.m. – Flag Ceremony
• 7–10 p.m. – Live entertainment featuring singer-songwriter Wyatt Cox
• 7–8 p.m. – Livestock check-in and weigh-in
• 10 p.m. – Main Building closes

Whether you're entering exhibits, showing livestock, or simply coming out for the fun, the Cleveland County Fair has something for the whole family!

🎡 The Carnival is Coming to the Cleveland County Fair!

Get ready for three days of thrills, family fun, and classic carnival rides at the 2026 Cleveland County Fair!

Carnival Dates
Friday, Sept. 11: 4–11 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12: 11 a.m.–11 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 13: 11 a.m.–8 p.m.

Hours are weather and crowd permitting.

🐴 Saddle up for the Stick Horse Races!

Following the Baby Crawling Contest on Friday, Sept. 11, kids ages 2-6 can race for fun, ribbons and trophies in the Cleveland County Fair Arena.

Entry is free!

Registration is from 5:30 to 6 p.m. in the Arena, with races beginning immediately after the Baby Crawl.

Race rules:
• Riders must be 2-6 years old.
• Riders must remain straddling their stick horse for the entire race or they will be disqualified.

👶 Ready... Set... CRAWL!

The 17th Annual Baby Crawling Contest returns to the Cleveland County Fair on Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. in the Arena!

Entry is free, and it's always one of the fair's most entertaining family events.

Here's how it works:
• Register your baby between 5 and 6 p.m. in the Arena.
• Five babies compete in each heat.
• The fastest crawler across the finish line wins!
• First, second and third place prizes will be awarded.

Please note: Babies must crawl the entire distance to be eligible to win. Babies who stand or attempt to walk during the race will be disqualified.
