ATTENTION VETERANS!
The "Homeless Veteran Stand Down" will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Hampton. Homeless and at-risk veterans will find a variety of resources at the Stand Down, including referrals to health care services, mental health counseling, housing resources and more.
LASEV’s Veteran Justice team will be present at the event!

The Hampton Military Affairs Committee and Hampton Veteran Affairs Medical Center will be providing transportation from multiple sites throughout Hampton Roads. We have listed a few of those locations below for your reference. If you are interested in using the transportation service, contact: Verneka Hudson, LCSW at 757-722-9961 ext. 2137.
The following locations will be providing FREE TRANSPORTATION for veterans only.

•McDonald’s, 2601 Jefferson Ave: Between 8:05am-8:10am
•Four Oaks Day Service Center, 7401 Warwick Blvd: Between 8:15am-8:30am
Hampton Sites
•Hampton Transit Center: Between 7:40am-7:50am
•Hampton VAMC –Domiciliary: Between 10:00am-10:30am
Virginia Beach Site
•PIN Ministry, 1164 Millers Ln., Suite A: Between 8:00am-8:30am
Norfolk Sites
•Union Mission, 5100 E. Virginia Beach Blvd: Between 8:00am-8:30am
•Salvation Army Men’s Shelter, 203 W. 19th St: Between 8:00am-8:30am
Portsmouth Site
