This class is designed to help you realize where your moral center is. When you learn what NOT to do, that's wisdom too. This unique Gals Guide class takes place the day before Halloween and is online. So available to everyone. We're gonna lean into the ick and the creepy, the hateful and the fearful - and the idea is we'll be better people because of it.

Day 13 of the Gals Guide move in. Toddler & Kids & Teen books got on the shelves! Also made room for a Classics collection as well as a spot for Wonder Woman and General Leia.

This was also the day of Gloria Steinem's passing. Lyn and I were in the Minnesota Classroom and reflected on Gloria's words, work, and wisdom. Then we did a Dakini meditation practice. Dakini's are known in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition as the fierce feminine sky dancers. I read the practice from Lama Tsultrim Allione's book Wisdom Rising. If a practice like this interests you, please read Lama's book, it's amazing!

After a handful of requests for connection to Buddhism and a space for meaningful meditation, I am thinking about restarting a Sangha (Buddhist community) here in Minnesota and having an online component. I'm gonna be as bold as a fire-breathing dragon for a second...The last time I talked about Women & Dragons I got a standing ovation. There is something deeply inspirational about the interconnectedness of the fierce feminine, protection of the cave, and wisdom.

Gals Guide newest class in our women's history academy is Women & Dragons: How Dragon Mythology Can Have Deep Feminine Wisdom. In this class, I'll focus on Eastern dragons and how they chase, hold, and protect a pearl of wisdom. How the wisdom flames completely destroy the root of suffering. I'll give you time to think about a woman’s inner dragon – defining it, communicating with it. I'll also talk about being in a world that sometimes tries to slay you.

I'm offering 3 ways to connect with this wisdom for only $25. You can come to the Minnesota Classroom, you can participate live online, you can watch the recording later. You can even do all 3 for the same price.
