The murder of Charlie Kirk is a sobering reminder that violence has no place in our democracy. Political disagreements should never turn into threats or attacks.

As candidates for local office, we see every day that people can passionately disagree while still showing respect. That respect is the cornerstone of a healthy democracy.

We must reject the normalization of violence and recommit to civil dialogue. Every citizen, regardless of beliefs or party, deserves to participate safely in our civic life.

We will continue to lead by example and encourage others to do the same.

Last week, despite the heat and passing rain, we had the chance to talk with so many of you across Newtown Township. What we heard over and over again was a shared pride in how far our community has come—and a real excitement for where we can go next.

Leonard has had the privilege of serving as Township Supervisor, working to deliver results that strengthen our township. Maria, as Chair of the Newtown Township Municipal Authority, has seen firsthand how good governance and collaboration benefit residents every day. Now, together, we’re stepping forward as Team because we believe Newtown’s best days are still ahead.

On November 4, we hope to earn your support so we can continue building on the progress we’ve made and ensure a strong, vibrant future for our community.

🏆 Champions of District 19! 🏆

A huge shoutout to our Newtown-Edgmont Little League 12U team — 2025 District 19 Champions! NELL battled past Ridley with a 6-2 win and now moves on to represent our community in the Section 8 Tournament this Saturday at Morrisville Little League.

We’re so proud of the grit, talent, and teamwork shown by these players and their coaches — and the incredible support from NELL families and fans.

Let’s rally behind them as they keep the magic going! 💥⚾

🇺🇸 What a fantastic day at the Marple Newtown 4th of July Parade! We were honored to walk alongside neighbors, friends, and first responders in celebration of our nation’s independence and the spirit of community that makes this place so special.

The overwhelming support for Team was truly humbling — thank you to everyone who cheered us on, stopped to chat, and showed their pride in our hometown.

As we reflect on the values that unite us this Independence Day, we remain committed to serving our community with transparency, accountability, and heart. 💙❤️
