Mike has been learning the Easy Swing under Will’s coaching and guidance for the past three months. 🤙

For Mike it has been all about learning how to use his arms and hands correctly. 7 lessons to come this far in three months is actually pretty fast! and so is that golf swing!

(The “body” part of the swing came naturally via his athleticism but his arms and hands were not working properly.)

8-iron
170-183 yd carry
91-95 mph club speed

Mike is just getting a taste of how golf ball is supposed to be struck. We will continue to develop his technique, feels and understanding of the Easy Swing— the better way to strike a golf ball. 💥

Stay tuned. Follow and like for more. 🤝

Tristan is a HS hockey 🏒 player, but he doesn’t have a good slap shot or wrist shot. He’s an advanced level junior hockey goalie 🥅.

So while he may be great on skates and a hockey mit in his hand, he’s not so coordinated when it comes to swinging a golf club— he lacks skills with his arms and hands 🙌 — absolutely critical for the golf swing.

Patience, understanding, and a developmental approach plus more time to practice in between his intensive private sessions, has led to where Tristan has found himself today— three years later.

More confident.
A respectable, competent golf swing.
Excitement to play the game more in the future.

Many people would not have made it this far — they would have quit. Perhaps they would have been guided under a different approach — for better or for worse, perhaps.

But Will prefers to make the learning as organic as possible and he sticks to a developmental approach when the student is willing to take that approach. He is certain his approach works, but it may not jive for everyone.

Meanwhile, Tristan will soon be off to college. He’s a smart kid. He wants to play golf recreationally for the rest of his life. And that folks, is what he will do.

To that end, Will is teaching him The Easy Swing.

Everyone’s journey, timetable, goals, discipline, and athleticism are different. Find a coach who will tailor his/her approach to help you learn and develop— and stick with that coach.

Kinjal making good progress on changing his motor pattern. He’s more on the swing plane, expending less effort, and developing more feels, understanding and awareness.

Let’s keep going, Kinjal. 🤝 👊

Recreational golfers who are struggling with basic contact should probably be more focused on how they use their arms and hands, as well as feeling the weight of the club head, rather than on how their body moves or even how to take the club back.

Stay tuned for how Will develops recreational golfer, Dan, and corrects this “chicken wing” issue that is ailing his ability to make consistent, quality contact.

In his late 40’s, (and now at age 52), Stewart Cink found a kind of career resurgence as exemplified in his performance in the last 5 five or so years, notably already winning two PGA Champions Tour majors in 2026 so far. These big wins come as an encore to his Charles Schwab Cup Championship victory to close out 2025.

Before that, Cink won the Open Championship a long 16 years prior in 2009, his only other major championship victory.

Through the help of TPI, Cink has added distance, consistency, more efficiency, as well as longevity.

He altered his backswing pivot and is now able to use the ground more explosively to push hard and early, almost jumping off the ground, to add distance, speed and even accuracy.

So far in 2026, Cink’s tour stats tell the story loud and clear.

- 2nd in driving distance
- 10th in driving accuracy
- 1st in GIR
- 1st in scoring average

He did not make the cut at Aronimink, but this man is on a tear. Watch out for more of Stewart Cink for the rest of 2026 and the years ahead.

The power of what I call, “The Basic Chip Shot” is that via ball position, and a simple technique and concept, you can easily play different trajectories around the green — high, med, low, and not be concerned about tight lies.

Here, a 56* wedge.

My friend, Joe, came down for a practice session with me — we did full swing, chipping, bunker shots and played a few holes together.

Feet are right, but the ball goes more on line and rolls straighter too for me if I do it this way.

(Swing looks very left, but that is relative to the feet.)

We keep learning, adjusting, and adapting in this wonderful game of golf ⛳️.✌️🤙

Rory McIlroy on the 72nd hole at the 108th PGA Championship.

Rory would make par and finish at -4 (T7), five shots behind the winner, Aaron Rai.

Congrats to Aaron Rai on his 2nd victory in as many years and his first major championship. 👏
