The Town of Newton Board of Selectmen, Fire Department, and Police Department stand together in gratitude for those who gave their lives defending our freedoms. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The Town-Wide Yard Sale is this Saturday from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM! ☀️ With beautiful weather in the forecast and over 30 yard sales happening around town, it’s the perfect day to shop, explore, and hunt for hidden treasures.

The yard sale map is now live, and printed copies will be available at the Gale Library in Newton on Friday and Saturday.

For those participating in the sale, tomorrow is the last day to pick up your optional yard sale sign at Town Hall or the Gale Library (located on the front porches) between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Good luck to all of our sellers, and happy treasure hunting to our shoppers!

The Friends of the Gale Library's Annual Book Sale will be Saturday, May 16th from 8:00 a.m. — 2 p.m.

This year's book sale will be located at 2 South Main Street in Newton.

Fill a bag with books for $4 (there will be plastic shopping bags available or bring your own),
OR purchase a canvas Gale Library tote bag for $15 and fill it with books for free!
