Looking for a great way to get involved in your community, meet new people, and make a positive impact? The Newton Recreation Commission is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our events throughout the year!

Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or want to be part of multiple events, we'd love to have you on our team.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

The Town of Newton Board of Selectmen, Fire Department, and Police Department stand together in gratitude for those who gave their lives defending our freedoms. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Happy Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

The Newton Town Beach will officially open for the season this Saturday, May 23rd!

Just a few simple reminders to help keep our beach safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone:

• Please respect our lifeguards and fellow beachgoers
• Make sure all trash is properly disposed of
• Use caution and be vigilant while in the water
• No fishing is permitted in the designated swimming area
• Alcohol, to***co, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited

We look forward to another wonderful summer at the beach with our community. Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine!

The Town-Wide Yard Sale is this Saturday from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM! ☀️ With beautiful weather in the forecast and over 30 yard sales happening around town, it’s the perfect day to shop, exploGale Library Newton and hunt for hidden treasures.

The yard sale map is now live, and printed copies will be available at The Gale Library in Newton on Friday and Saturday.

For those participating in the sale, tomorrow is the last day to pick up your optional yard sale sign at Town Hall or the Gale Library (located on the front porches) between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.

Good luck to all of our sellers, and happy treasure hunting to our shoppers!

We had an absolute blast at our April Vacation event at the Salisbury Beach Carousel 🎠✨

The afternoon was full of smiles, pizza, friends, balloons, arcade games—and of course, ENDLESS rides on the carousel! 🍕🎈🎮

Thank you to everyone who came out—it was so great seeing all those happy faces! 💛

And a HUGE thank you to our friends at Salisbury Beach Carousel for helping make the day so special!
