I had a fabulous time at Senator Mamie Locke’s Southern Style Luau at the beautiful Boxwood Inn! Great food, great friends, and great music from The Fuzz Band made for a wonderful evening. Always good to spend time with friends and enjoy some incredible live music!

I enjoyed spending part of my Saturday at Zion Baptist Church’s Youth Fest 2026! It was great to see families come together for a free Back-to-School celebration focused on helping our young people start the new school year on a positive note. Thank you to Zion Baptist Church, the volunteers, and community partners for giving their time and resources to support our youth. Wishing all of our Newport News students a safe and successful school year.
