The first lecture of the 29th season of the Witte Lectures is this coming weekend, February 27 & 28. Starting December 24, 2025, a new United States Postal Service (USPS) rule clarifies that postmarks reflect the date of the first automated processing — not necessarily the actual mailing date. Under IRS guidelines, when contributions are sent via the US Mail the gift is considered made on the date of the postmark. To be sure that your tax-deductible contribution is received by the Foundation and credited to the 2025 tax year, I strongly recommend that you mail your contribution no later than Monday, December 29. You can also make your contribution online on the Foundation’s secure giving portal.
