One more snow day… last day of school will now be 6/22. For those concerned with summer camp starting, parks and rec will work with the school calendar for when to start. I’m sure once we thaw out a communication will come out from P&R!

The Connecticut Automatic Admission Program (CAAP) guarantees automatic college admission to students with strong grades. This program waives the application fee, student essays, and recommendation letters for participating institutions.

Seniors with a 3.0 weighted GPA or 2.75 unweighted GPA can apply to 10 participating public and private colleges with just one free application.

Participating colleges and universities include:

This has been a long time coming!! Thankful for the collaboration between the town and board employees (and elected officials) to finally make improvements to and pave Garfield street, including the bus lot! This will increase the life span of our busses and keep our drivers safe!

Don’t be surprised if you drive by the Garfield Street school bus parking lot outside of regular driving hours and see it empty.
