Well it looks like Mother Nature doesn’t want us to be open today. I hate to end our season like this, but we all know how bad we need the rain. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I was blessed to have 11 lifeguards with me this season. Even though it got hairy a couple times, I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Thank you to the city guys for all you did and especially to Sierra N. Olsen for all of you advice and being that person when I needed someone. Thank you to Brian Puhrmann, the park board and city council for all of your support!

It’s no secret that the future of our pool is unknown. There is a lot of work that needs to be done inside and outside. My hope is that we can come together and find a way to save it.

I hope all of the kids have an amazing school year! I will miss seeing them at the pool everyday! Thanks again for all of your support!
