Join us TONIGHT, 7:00 PM, downstairs at the Newburyport Senior Community Center, 331 High Street, for the first of two meetings to demystify the ballot questions we will need to vote on during the November election.
We will have speakers and information this evening on questions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9. In October, we will tackle questions 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Make sure you are ready to vote on these issues, which will impact policy in MA for many years to come.

Our summer of protest is complete BUT we will continue our peaceful and joyful standouts through Labor Day weekend and into the Fall. We meet up on Saturdays from 11 AM - 12 PM at the Bartlet Mall. A hearty Congratulations to Senator Ed Markey, Congressional candidate Dan Koh and State Representative Dawne Shand who won contested races in yesterday's Democratic primary.
A special shout out to MA State Rep. Tram T. Nguyen, who came in 2nd in the crowded race for Congress, but won a majority of voters in Newburyport.
The NDCC is SO PROUD of all the amazing Democratic candidates who stepped up to run, and all who will be heading into the November 3rd general election.

During today's protest, we reminded those who drove by that the chaos, corruption and cruelty we are living through right now is not normal, and we must all use our power at the ballot box!
If you didn't vote early last week, head to your assigned polling location on Tuesday from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
If you have a mailed ballot at home, hand deliver it to the slot outside Newburyport City Hall by Tuesday at 8:00 PM (or find the drop location in your community). Make sure your voice is heard!

Tomorrow, we complete our summer protest calendar with a protest focused not just on national issues but on GETTING OUT THE VOTE for the Massachusetts primary!
Early voting ended on Thursday. If you still have your mail-in ballot, it's too late to mail it so please drop it in the ballot slot outside City Hall or vote on Tuesday, ELECTION DAY!
Voting is the most basic way we preserve and protect our Democracy. Hope to see you tomorrow, 11 AM - 12 PM, Bartlet Mall (and every Saturday continuing into the fall).

Early Voting is now underway in the Democratic primary, where Newburyport voters will choose the candidates for State Rep, Congress and US Senate who will appear on the November midterm ballot. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, September 1st.

Newburyport showed up last week in support of our immigrant neighbors, first at a candlelight vigil organized by Music In Action early in the week, and then at our NDCC weekly protest on Saturday. Standing up for the rule of law and the Democratic process are acts of patriotism. Thanks to all who attended, drove by and honked, or signed up to take other actions.
