FYI - Trumps Executive order directive for M-25-13

OMB Memorandum M-25-13 is a directive from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) that temporarily pauses federal grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs. The pause, which was set to take effect on January 28, 2025, applies to programs that conflict with Executive Orders under the Trump Administration, particularly those related to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, foreign assistance programs, clean energy, and other policies inconsistent with administration priorities.ยน

The memorandum requires federal agencies to identify and review all federal financial assistance programs to determine which ones may be impacted by the President's executive orders. During this review period, agencies are instructed to temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of federal financial assistance.

However, it's worth noting that the White House has since rescinded OMB Memorandum M-25-13, following a federal court's decision to halt part of the directive. The rescission aims to end confusion and allow the government to focus on enforcing the President's orders on controlling federal spending.
