The Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation (MOTIA, Tourism Today Bahamas) has released a statement announcing the trial run of the Bahamas Digital Arrival Card (BDAC), an upgraded digital system to replace the paper immigration card traditionally used for those arriving in The Bahamas. The Digital Arrival Card enables select visitors participating in the pilot program to complete required entry documentation online through a dedicated web portal prior to arrival, streamlining the arrival process and reducing reliance on paper-based forms at participating ports of entry. Serving as both an immigration and customs declaration, the system is currently being introduced on selected flights as part of the program’s initial implementation phase. MOTIA, along with the Bahamas Immigration Department and the Bahamas Customs Department,, will work jointly on this venture to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive, and measured approach to modernizing the nation’s border entry processes.
