Last week, our Brooklyn Woods program hosted a mixer for local housing developers to check out our cabinet-making social enterprise.

We connected with industry experts from Urban Architectural Initiatives, The Doe Fund, Fifth Avenue Committee, JV Construction and Consulting, LLC, Fish Plate Development, Shakespeare Gordon Studio and more.

We’ve still got a smile since we last saw you at BWI’s Spring Celebration! It was a joyful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together with generosity and purpose. We were especially proud to recognize our honorees: Jasmińe Blackmon (alum), NBCUniversal, SMJ Development, Mark Jupiter, and NYC Ferry, operated by Hornblower. Their partnership, leadership and commitment have helped expand pathways to workforce success.
