Last week, we had the honor of visiting Grand Street Settlement, a historic and vital part of New York City since 1916! They offer amazing programs for early childhood, youth, and older adults in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. 🏙️

This week, Mayor Eric Adams announced an unprecedented $5+ billion in advance payments to nonprofit providers for Fiscal Year 2026.

These funds will provide crucial upfront resources to the organizations that care for our kids, support older adults, shelter the homeless, and uplift our most vulnerable neighbors across the five boroughs.

The Mayors Office of Nonprofit Services is always looking for ways to ensure that nonprofits across the sector are getting paid in a timely manner and appreciate the opportunity to engage in dialogue with our partners in order to discuss performance management and culture change.
