Yesterday, we announced $24.4 million to convert 3 vacant lots into parks; and a neighborhood study to reimagine what Webster/Park Avenue can look like - incl. the thousands of housing units it can unlock. We are dedicated to ensuring this community realizes its full potential.

The Fordham bus lane redesign presented an opportunity for transformative investments in a neglected community. It’s disappointing that they instead chose to offer crumbs. I wrote to the Mayor and Dept. of Transportation about that.
