It's time to kick off June, which means it's time to celebrate play!

International Day of Play is 6/11, but we're celebrating all month long. Together, let's bring the power of play to children who need it most by donating product to the Toy Chest.

Companies of any size can participate by contributing any number of toys, from 500 to 5,000 pieces, that will be placed directly into the hands of children in need. There are no associated costs and TTF coordinates the logistics, making this an easy and cost-effective way to give back.

The Toy Foundation is supporting CHRISTUS Children's in Texas in the expansion of therapeutic play.

How? Two Vecta multisensory machines and an LED marble tactile wall for the inpatient rehabilitation playroom.

Why? These additions will enhance both rehabilitation and Child Life services, support sensory regulation, and promote developmental stimulation.

The Toy Foundation is proud to continue its support of John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital’s PlayForward program.

This initiative has strengthened staff’s ability to meet the developmental and emotional needs of hundreds of children through play, many of whom have never owned toys of their own. It also equips caregivers with tools to support healthy play and coping long after discharge.

This year, the program will expand to integrate therapeutic play into every stage of the hospital experience, supporting children, caregivers, and staff alike.

We are proud to publish The Toy Foundation's 2025 Impact Report, which outlines what happens when the toy industry comes together to support children in need.

Together, we brought play to more than 2.7 million children worldwide through our two core programs:

🧸 Toy Chest: Collected $30 million in toys, which were distributed to 2.5 million children in schools, hospitals, community organizations, and disaster zones.

🏥 Play Fund: Awarded more than $400,000 in grants supporting 245,000 children in hospitals and disaster zones.

Everything we do at The Toy Foundation, we do for children who need us most. We look forward to expanding our impact in 2026!

2026 Play Fund Grantee, Oklahoma Children’s Health Foundation, received funding to upgrade their outdoor playground to be a safe and inclusive place for young children with autism.

Outdoor play offers opportunities for children with autism to build motor skills through climbing and sliding, while also strengthening communication skills through social interaction with peers.
