All Fort Berthold Rural Water Distribution staff on site for repairs to the mainline break in White Shield. This portion of the mainline experienced a "Water Hammer" event and multiple segments of pipe were affected and damaged in this area. FBRW Parshall Water Treatment Operators are sending water from the Parshall Water Treatment plant through a secondary pipeline to the White Shield Reservoir.

To achieve this our staff have increased production at the Parshall WTP and raised the Tank Level at the Parshall Luck Mound Tank on Hwy-37 in order to gain enough pressure to fill the WS tank and we are beginning to see an increase in the elevation of water in WS Reservoir. Excavation began on the leak at approximately 12:30 am. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause and our staff will be working 24/7 to ensure all of our customers are brought back on line as soon as possible.

As a reminder users south of 14th St NW will experience no water pressure as Crews work to repair the water main break. FBRW has prevented all users north of this area from running out of water at this time.
