No more detours! 🙌

The NYS Thruway Authority announced that Centre Avenue Bridge will re-open a few days ahead of schedule at 10 AM Friday, August 28.

Improvements to the 68-year-old bridge - - - used by about 3,400 vehicles daily - - - include joint reconstruction, repairs to the bridge's bearings and substructure, as well as new sidewalks and roadway pavement.

New Rochelle honors American icon Dolly Parton with a tribute in pink lights on the face of City Hall. The American flag will fly at half-staff until September 1 for Parton, who died Tuesday at 80 years old.
