Greater New Orleans Foundation Presents: GIVE NOLA DAY MAY 5, 2024. Learn more about CVU by using this linkhttps://www.givenola.org/organization/cvunola
The foundation started GIVENOLA DAY to help local nonprofits raise awareness & funds. Thank you for your support.

Each donation can help a local artist to receive payment and promotion of their work. Below are some suggestions:

$25 = quart of paint
$50 = primer for utility box
$100 = paint kit
$650 = 5 gardens that have been installed
$850 = cost of utility box painting

*CVU has completed 403 art boxes that are in 5 parishes throughout greater New Orleans. They also created over 10 beautification gardens and the first (1994) community vegetable garden at St. Philip & Dupre that is still in service.
*CVU works with each neighborhood organization to coordinate what artwork or improvements they desire. It coordinates with artists to implement each project.
*Part of the CVU mission is to create a precedent for paying and promoting local artists work.
CVU is an all volunteer organization so all donations go to keep the many improvement projects going.

Community Visions Unlimited has just finished the 401st art box! 20 boxes on Metairie Road and more to come! Help us celebrate the fantastic work by local artists on utility boxes: You may donate through GIVENOLA day starting on April 28th which can help cvu multiply our money...
