It’s April Fool’s Day 🤡
What a great opportunity to remind Frederick County not to get fooled into voting for the “status quo” this election. 🚫
The facts are:
• Nearly 70% of students fail algebra proficiency exams 🔢
• Over 1/3 of students aren’t on reading/writing grade level 📝
• And yet each year, more and more of your tax dollars are funneled in to an ever increasing (now over a $1 billion proposed) budget that is not directly benefitting the classroom. 💵
• All the while, massive amounts of money are spent by special interest groups that negotiate teacher contracts on board member candidates who end up approving those contracts. This is a blatant conflict of interest and integrity issue. That is why everyone on our slate has made a promise not to accept any of those funds. 💰
You aren’t fools, Frederick County.
Vote for four candidates who can take the good in FCPS and make it great - through an emphasis on educational fundamentals, less emphasis on technology in classrooms, more discipline in classrooms and teacher support, fiscal responsibility, school choice, parental rights, school safety, and more! 👏
