💙 QPR Training - Thank you!!

Last Wednesday evening, we were honored to welcome Gia Washington and Jeanne Delano from Sertoma Star Services, who both lead QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training for nearly 60 virtual attendees.

Their guidance in teaching the “CPR of mental health” - how to recognize warning signs, understand risk and protective factors, and confidently question, persuade, and refer someone in crisis -was truly invaluable and sparked meaningful discussion around common myths vs. facts about su***de, the impact of su***de in our communities, and how everyday individuals can step in early to offer support and connection to resources.

Because of their dedication, more members of our community are now equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to help someone in crisis—and potentially save a life.

Thank you for both for you time, expertise, and commitment to making a difference!
