Filipino Association of Rockland We are a 501(c) (3) non-profit, dedicated to preserve, promote and perpetuate the Filipino heritage through cultural, charitable and educational programs.

We endeavor to enhance the Filipino community’s capacity in becoming active participants in the overall effort to effect meaningful changes in society. FAR strives to bring Filipinos and Filipino Americans aware of their roots, conscious of their rights, and cognizant of their responsibilities as members of both the American and Philippine societies, and as citizens of the global community. Q: Where is your hometown?
A: Ramos, Tarlac, Philippines

Q: What is your favorite Filipino food?
A: Rellenong Bangus!

Q: How was FAR played a role in your life?
A: I was able to connect with my fellow Filipinos here after moving to New York and was able to live my Filipino heritage here in the US.

Q: What do you do when you are not fulfilling your duties as a FAR officer?
A: I love entertaining family, relatives and friends at home and cook for them.

Q: What are you looking forward to this year in FAR?
A: I'm looking forward to being with Filipinos (and friends!) of all ages and just having fun.
