The Neshannock Swimming Pool Association The Neshannock Swimming Pool is located inside beautiful Pearson Park. We are a nonprofit organization relying on membership fees to operate the pool.

Founded in 1960, the Neshannock Swimming Pool is a privately run swimming pool located in Pearson Park, Neshannock Township, New Castle, PA. We offer two heated swimming pools, an Olympic length main pool with a sliding board and two diving boards, as well as a tot-pool with sliding board for children under age 6. A fully operational snack bar serves an array of food, snacks, drinks, and ice cream

. Swimming lessons are offered for members and non-members in multiple two-week sessions. They are taught by our fully certified lifeguards with the supervision of a water safety instructor. Each season we offer a variety of social events for our members and their guests. See our calendar for more information and details. A heck of a weekend of work for the hardworking volunteers at the NSPA. Opening preparations are still on track for our targeted opening on 6/12! Still a lot of work to get the place ready for guests but sure looks good so far.

Happy Friday all. Just a quick reminder that we will have staff onsite tomorrow from 10am-2pm for membership sign ups. You can even peek in on the volunteers who will be hard at work prepping and cleaning the pool as we prepare to start painting this week!

NSPA Community Update
We are happy to share that meaningful progress continues to be made toward opening for the 2026 season.

Over the past several days, NSPA has secured important support that will allow us to move forward with the required electrical and operational work identified during our pre-opening process.

Contractors are engaged, work is being scheduled, and we are increasingly confident in our ability to open in the coming weeks. At this time, we are targeting an opening date of June 12 at the latest, with the possibility of opening sooner if progress continues as anticipated.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and encouragement as we work through these final steps and prepare for the season ahead. If you have not yet secured your membership for the 2026 season, we encourage you to do so. We will have a Membership drive this Saturday from 10am-2pm at the front desk of the NSPA. At this time we can only accept payments via check but will be happy to answer questions or even walk you through signing up online on your own device. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the pool soon.

NSPA Community Update

As we continue preparations for the 2026 season, we wanted to provide a brief update to our members and the community.

During pre-opening inspections and startup activities, we identified an unforeseen electrical issue that requires corrective work prior to opening. Coupled with recent weather delays, this will push back our anticipated opening timeline slightly as we work through the necessary repairs and approvals.

The good news is that progress is being made, contractors are engaged, and we continue to move in the right direction. Our goal remains to open as soon as possible while ensuring the facility is operating safely and properly for the season.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, support, and understanding as we work through these final items. Additional updates will be shared as they become available.

The annual NSPA Dog Swim is always a bittersweet day for us. It’s such a wonderful event with all these dogs and families enjoying the pool but it also marks the last day of the season. We’d like to thank all the pups and friends that came out today, and also thank every one of our members and staff for such a great season. We hope you enjoyed the season as much as we did.

We already can’t wait to see you next year!
