Today, AirLife Texas 10 closed its base in New Braunfels. We are grateful for the opportunity to have served this community and entire state over the past two years and for the trust placed in our crews. While we no longer have a base in New Braunfels, AirLife TEXAS remains committed to supporting the region through our statewide ecosystem, which includes bases in Uvalde, Waco, Snyder, Lockhart and Taylor. Thank you, New Braunfels, for your partnership and support. 💙🚁

Let's give a big ol' Texas welcome to our new flight nurse, Brennen! ✈️🎉🇨🇱

Brennan recently completed his final orientation flight and didn't waste any time - already taking some complex, high acuity patients with his paramedic partner and doing an outstanding job!

Brennan has been practicing critical care medicine for the last 8 years. He first started off in EC/trauma before moving to CVICU and rapid response. When not flying, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his wife while hiking some mountains.

We're proud to have you on our team Brennan! 🙌

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own, Joe Fernandez, who helped tell the stories of AirLIFE one photo at a time.

Joe Fernandez became on honorary member of the AirLIFE TEXAS emergency air medical family as he took professional photographs of our aircraft at several of our bases across the state. While he loved photographing all aircraft, he had a soft spot for air medical helicopters and planes, which made his visits to our bases particularly special. His memory lives on for us in his photos that are featured in news stories about our program, on banners we display at conferences and events, and on our social media pages. His caring, generous spirit showed not only in his photos, but also in his interactions with our crews, who enjoyed sharing their mutual appreciation of aircraft with this trusted friend. He will be dearly missed by our team both personally and professionally. We wish you blue skies and tailwinds, Joe.
