The City and NBU have some power, but the bulk of it comes from the State level. My promise to you is that I will continue to do everything in our power to stop data centers from coming into our city limits. We are working behind the scenes to draft ordinances and work with NBU on utility restrictions. We are also monitoring what is happening with the City of San Marcos. Data centers do not belong here.

If you live in Champion's Village or the surrounding areas and are or have had issues with sewage back-ups or sewage odors, please fill out this survey. This is ONLY for people affected, not the general public. We want to get accurate data from the affected residents. This data will help us have a more effective meeting with NBU and residents.

Please join us for an opportunity to give your input on which city streets you feel need to be a high priority. This shapes our decisions.

Your input can help shape next year's street maintenance projects. ๐Ÿšง

As planning begins for the 2026/2027 budget, the City's Public Works Department wants your feedback on which streets should be prioritized for maintenance.

Join us for a public forum on Wednesday, July 29, at 6 p.m. at New Braunfels City Hall (550 Landa St.) to learn how streets are selected and how to submit your input. Can't make it? An online survey will be available July 27 through August 7.

Thank you to everyone in District 3 who came out to todayโ€™s community forum. Your questions, your concerns, and your engagement are exactly what makes this district strong. Iโ€™m grateful for every one of you who showed up.

Among the issues raised today, residents of Champions Village, TBarM, Mission Hills, and surrounding neighborhoods brought forward real concerns about the sewer line project affecting their area. Following the forum, I connected directly with NBU CEO Ryan Kelso, and weโ€™ve agreed on a path forward. Full details are attached below.

Thank you for holding us accountable. Thatโ€™s how local government is supposed to work.
