Thank you Mayor Brian for visiting third graders at Horace Mann! Sharing what the City does with our kids is important and I hope we can work toward having more opportunities to collaborate between the City and School District!

Mr. Carlson was the superintendent when I was in school and Mr. Lewis the principal. If you haven't had a chance to watch the graduation ceremony, check it out on the NJSD YouTube page. The elements celebrating the 150 years were well done.

As part of the 150th Neenah High School commencement ceremony on Wednesday night, we were fortunate to have the past five high school principals participate in the ceremony. This represented every principal over the past 48 years.

Rick Carlson (1978-84) and Larry Lewis (1984-99) opened the night with a special welcome, while Mark Duerwaechter (1999-2010) and Colleen Doyle (2010-13) introduced the high school staff and district staff members in attendance. Current Principal Brian Wunderlich (2013-present) introduced other speakers and offered closing remarks.

Congrats to the Neenah High School class of 2026. Enjoy your next adventure!!

City of Neenah friends - want to learn more about zoning and potential changes? Here is a great opportunity in June to learn more. Contact the Community Development department if you have further questions:

Have you ever wondered why homes, businesses, parks, and industries are located where they are in a community? That’s where zoning comes in.

Join us for a community workshop to share your ideas, ask questions, and help shape the future of our community.
📅 Date: Monday, June 15th
🕒 Time: 6:00PM to 7:30PM
📍 Location: City Administration Building (211 Walnut Street – First Floor Lobby/Council Chambers)

Zoning is a tool cities use to guide growth and development by establishing rules for how land can be used and developed. It helps shape our neighborhoods, supports businesses, protects community character, manages growth, and ensures land uses work well together. Zoning affects many aspects of daily life, from housing options and neighborhood design to business development and signage.

The City is beginning work on a new Zoning Code, and community input is an important part of the process. We want to hear from residents, property owners, business owners, and community members about what you value and what you’d like to see in the future.

Click the link below to see the City's current zoning map: https://gis.ci.neenah.wi.us/portal/apps/View/index.html?appid=fb4597efc14943d58ad2efa1be6b7eb5

Your input will help create a zoning code that reflects our community’s vision and supports future growth. We hope to see you there!

A group of 14 residents has graduated from the inaugural Neenah Citizens Academy, a program to learn how local government functions based on real-world problems facing the departments. Read more in the May 22, 2026 Neenah News. www.neenahnews.com

Tonight I had the honor of presenting my Dad's scholarship. Congratulations to Jocelyn who was this year's winner and I wish her the best of luck in her future. I'd also like to congratulate the other seniors who won a scholarship tonight. It was interesting to hear the stories of the families, organizations and businesses supporting our students. Thank you!!
