On Saturday, I spoke with TDOT officials, including Commissioner Reid, to request that the cross mowed along I-40 in Kingston be allowed to remain. I’m pleased to share that Commissioner Reid confirmed TDOT no longer plans to remove it. This cross, a simple yet powerful display of faith, serves as a beautiful reminder of Christ’s sacrifice, love, and promise. I’m grateful it will continue to stand as a symbol of hope for all who pass by and I was glad to be of service.
